Chili lime shrimp ramen

Chili Lime Shrimp Ramen Soup



Yield 3-4 Servings

Perfect recipe to satisfy your ramen craving! Ready in less than 30 minutes and made with delicious chili seasoned broth and lime shrimp. Both tastier and healthier than the store-bought version!


Garnishes (optional):


  1. Heat 1 tablespoon sesame oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon chili powder, 1 teaspoon lime juice and salt; cook, stirring occasionally until firm and pink.
  2. Remove shrimp from pan and add 2 tablespoons sesame oil to skillet. Add onion and tomato and cook on medium about 4 minutes. Add ginger and garlic. Cook 1 minute and turn off heat; mash slightly.
  3. Return to medium heat. Add water, broth, ½ tablespoon chili powder, cayenne pepper, 1 teaspoon lime juice and soy sauce. Bring to a boil then simmer 8-10 minutes. Add noodles, cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Just before serving, add fresh spinach and stir in.
  5. Serve with lime wedges, matchstick carrots, green onions, cilantro, and hoisin sauce.


*May use any type of ramen, discard the seasoning packet.
